Went here for a group evening meal and we all skipped starters and went straight to the mains. Although the mains were tasty, they were over salted and very small portions. All served by a surly waiter. Decided against desserts and coffee, opted to have these back at our hotel as the service there was far better and better value.

Very nice deco and ambience. We were seated at the garden room when we walked in for a quick lunch. The portion of main course is more like starter but with main course price. To be honest, the food is cooked well and tastes good. Great atmosphere to have light lunch with friends and enjoy a drink but don't go... More

Very nice informal atmosphere with fresh vegetables on view. Several dishes were just amazing. The black rice with calamari was terrific. The twelve grilled vegetables were cooked just perfectly and had a great tomato dipping sauce. The baked eggplant was very unusual and savory. A very interesting menu and excellent service.

We loved this restaurant and came back a second time. The ambience is very nice--chic decoration, not too loud but not stuffy either. The food was good, some dishes were awesome, some were a bit bland, but overall it was very good. The mushroom rice, truffle pasta, and the peanut and pork turnovers were highlights. The omelette and the pan... More

I visited the restaurant with 2 friends and we left with the feeling we didn't eat enough but that we paid for a fest.. We had 2 courses for sharing among the 3 and 1 main course for each of us. That in Spain means you will have more than enough. In this particular case we definitely felt it wasn't... More

We had the ham croquets and fried artichokes for appetizer. For mains we had the rice with seafood and squid entrees. Everything was very good and fresh. Great location and ambience. We got there around 7 for dinner and most tables there were foreigners as Spaniards eat much later. There was only one server when we got there but she... More

This place is in a nice alleyway and it does have a nice small menu. The food is probably better than the service which is their only issue. The food is very good without being outstanding, but it is a nice place to stop by and have a chill dinner. They do have a little big of everything and I... More

We came to the restaurant pretty early for Spanish standards. So at 7PM we were the first guests. We had to leave our table at 10PM for people with a reservation (we didn't have one). I enjoyed a very nice dinner, my wife's tiramisu at the end was the best she ever enjoyed. Recommended!

We eat a spagheti of quinoa with fried egg and mushrooms well cooked. Also we tried potatoes with cheese, bread with tomato and "croquetas" all good. The service was good and the place was very nice. The price its aligned with the quality of the food.

Description
El Mordisco is back.

With the same atmosphere but in a different place and with different management.

Situated in front of the restaurant Tragaluz, next to the Paseo de Gracia, makes it an ideal place for lunch, dinner or for having a drink. Alone or accompanied, the kitchen is open all day and the store has a selection of wine, selected canned goods and dishes from the menu to take out.

An agile place, appetising and with quality products.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
