The Cheese Croquettes were absolutely brilliant along with the Argentinian Prawns with Curry Ice cream as well Duck with cinnamon. This was accompanied by some tasty Belgium beer but for the life of me can't remember the name. Michel, who happened to be our AirBnB host, was attentive and had a good rapport with his clientele. Will definitely have a... More

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 4 December 2016

This time we came on purpose as opposed to last time that we just "fell" on the place. Although 4 years passed, Michel still remembered me and this time I was with my brother and father. Again the combination of strong Belgium beer (Westamalle this time) with Tapas and excellent main dishes were a great comforting event for the unfortunate... More

Great find in the Gothic Quarter. Had a combo of tapas and platos. Shrimp with curry ice cream was a standout as well as the tuna tataki. Prompt friendly service and cute intimate locale. Definitely worth stoppage by!

Small place in the baric gothic and what a joy. The tapas are mostly with a Belgian twist and that is not bad at all. Belgium is not famous for the food but this place makes a difference. If you decide to go please do try the goat cheese salat... it is so good.

After a couple of really disappointing meals in Barcelona we came upon Gilda which is located in a street back from Port Vell on the edge of the Old Town and decided to give it a go and what a find it was. It has a really interesting menu with a Belgium twist - from croquettes made with Belgium Bruegel... More

Great food, drinks and service; plus engaging owner. Had a fun 2 nights at Gilda. I think we closed the place both times. Things to try; meatballs, Thai style mussels, Sangria, and to end the meal cannabis ice cream with chocolate cake... it's all divine!

Found this little gem online looking for a place for my boyfriends birthday meal, such a great atmosphere, wonderful food and great service. If your looking for something different I recommend you try the tempura prawns w/ curry ice cream (I know)! But it was delicious and went together so well! Steak was perfect to. No complaints

Description
Welcome to Gilda by Belgious! Dedicated to the fading art of good service and fine, flavorful food at a good price, we seek out the freshest, quality ingredients to ensure your experience is of the highest calibre from beginning (our delectable gourmet tapas) to end (our mouth watering house-made deserts)! Since we are part of Belgious, don't be surprised to discover that some of our dishes come with wasabi, ginger, curry or even cannabis ice-cream ! Our kitchen opens every evening from 18:30 till midnight (even later during weekends), meaning you can even walk in at 23:45 and still enjoy dinner with us. If you would like to try our gastronomy at noon, we do open the restaurant -prior reservation- for private groups from 14 to 38 guests (Ideal for celebrations or company related luncheons).
