If you've got the time to wait over an hour for your food to arrive, then yeah, sure, come here. The bar is the kitchen, if you're a large group or the restaurant is busy then go elsewhere The ingredients are fresh and tasted good, prices are reasonable

We were very lucky to find a table and got a beer and an herbal tea. My beer was a special IPA, small batch from a local producer. The girl could describe me the beer in an appropriate way. 4€. The wife took a Moroccan mint Tea (3€? Can't remember), and was delightful (exactly as in Morocco). Super friendly staff,... More

This is a really special place. The menu is tiny but the quality of the ingredients was top notch and the flat breads were delicious. The bar itself is atmospheric and bustling and it provides a great little respite from the crowds. Definitely worth seeking out

Solid food quality let down by a slow kitchen. It's also a little cramped but that's less of an issue. Only if you've got tons of time to spare.

We waited for 55 minutes for a smoothie and two melted cheese sandwiches. This looked like a common occurrence all around us. It's not gourmet food it's just a melted cheese sandwich. My wife's came out finally, when she finished eating we just got up, payed for whatever did arrive and left.

Definitely one of those "hidden gems" of Barcelona, tucked in the tiny alleys of the Gothic Quarter. Great vibe, warm atmosphere and cute setting! The service was slow but it didn't matter much as it was nice to just soak in the surroundings. The food (flatbreads) and sangria were delicious! A nice change from all the tapas bars. Highly highly... More

I visited this place with my friends from work and we had such a good time there. The food is nice and cheap. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place.

Salterio is an excellent find for a sit-down meal for tapas-weary travelers in Spain. It is in an unassuming location but pretty easy to find from La Rambla. First, the food: we ordered two different types of Sardo (flatbread with filling). It was excellent in flavor. I recommend the four seasons sardo and it almost tasted like a very good... More

Stumbled upon this tiny little bar/restaurant completely by accident when the restaurant we planned to go to was fully booked. It really is a hidden little box of delights. My first impressions weren't great - tiny bar which was absolutely packed yet they still managed to find a seat for my boyfriend and I. It was late at night and... More

We stumbled on this place on our first night and we returned 3 more times it's a vegetarian resteraunt that serves great beers and Turkish coffee and wonderful Spanish cheeses the Sardos are as tasty a meal as I've had and the staff are really helpful and friendly you really feel that this is why you've come to Barcelona.
