We brought our recent FRESH conference dinner to BOO in November alongside the industry ibtm exhibition. With 70 people attending, the restaurant handled the group brilliantly. Great service and great food. Valentina and her team were highly professional in the run up to the event and during the evening. I would recommend this restaurant at this stunning beach location in... More

Got the mussels and clams in a pot witb spicy sauce. Was the best meal I got in Barcelona during my entire stay and for only 10 euros. Not sure if the rest of the menu is that awesome but the dish I had, desserves a big "Well done chef"

Amazing spot, better views, great atmosphere... but no idea about cooking or food at all. It is not necessary to explain the shame that causes me such a place, especially for being a local. One can not try to serve mediterranean food and do it so wrong. But don't worry if you just want to drink something, then it turns... More

We booked the terrace and Mirador for 30 people from London for an afternoon or lovely food & drinks and a work presentation at the end of August and had a fantastic time with the El Boo team! Valentina was great support with all our booking requests & the team on the day were very flexible & friendly. The food... More

Great location right on the beach. Party of 14. Mixed starters including mussels, gaspatchio , croquettes. Mains choice of beef stew, paella or fish. I had paella which was overlooked, my guests recommended the fish. Waiters speak very little English and we're not very patient with my basic Spanish ( It was a bit like dining in Paris in that... We were recommended to this restaurant to try their paella. I was very let down by the food. The waiters as the other reviews have mentioned were very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Also, I had concerns about the hygiene of the food. They cooked everything and left it outside where there were flies. Extremely overpriced. Only good thing was the view.

Last week I visited Boo with a collegue. We were looking for a quick snack but unfortunately the kitchen was closed between lunch and dinner. The friendly waiter advised us on other possible locations bit we decided to stay and enjoy the great location. During our stay the service was fine, fast and friendly. I would definitely come back here.

Staying in Poblenou

Neighbourhood Profile
Poblenou
The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centres catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.
