Full of locals at midday, this quaint little café serves a wide variety of cakes and toasts, as well as smoothies and some brunch plates. We had the eggs bennedict and eggs florentine, it tasted absolutely amazing. Perfectly made holandaise topped with fresh chives, yes please. This is a superb place to have breakfast or brunch.

Amazing home made pastry! Excelent service, cozy atmosphere, decent prices that's what i found here. It' s a good alternative for the hotel breakfast if you stay in the area. The Red velvet cake is absolutly delicious.

Wasn't looking for a cafe but was keen to step inside when this one popped up. Good service and pastries made with care! Guy at the front was really friendly and seemed to love his job! A true sign of a place that has found its mojo!!

We took breakfast here twice and each time was very good. The food was delicious and fresh, coffee also good and they have nice pastries products. The place is cozy, not so big with a small table outside. The staff was friendly, willing to help you, good English, and the prices are reasonable. Also they have options for vegetarians.

Trip Advisor led us to this restaurant a few blocks from our hotel and we enjoyed it twice on our brief stay in Barcelona. Breakfast was great and we stopped by later the same day for dessert. The prices are reasonable and the staff charming (with impressive English skills).

Such a cute little place! They have everything you could want, just so many options! The workers were very nice, especially when they realized I did not speak Spanish. I would go again and again and again!! I highly recommend!!

Yo y "my-better-half" hemos disfrutado de sus pasteles, brunches y selección de chais. No hay un sitio como este en el barrio. We have visited Strata a few times now. The cakes are fantastic with a selection of vegan cakes. They have a variety of breakfast options also. Service is always super friendly and efficient. We will be back for... More

Go here because you love cake but don't expect it to be served with a smile. My partner & I have been patrons of this place for 4 years, because we live close by but, we wonder if it is worth it since we always leave feeling very poorly treated. We only go 1-2 times a year but would go... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
