A great experience, starting for the visual impact the moment you get in. You have to wait for a sit, but the waiting is worth it as you can observe the works of art there exhibited. Service was also excellent. Once the cakes arrived (cherry, gold and mango. Mind the order of the experience can be less satisfactoruy), I experienced... More

Either for having a snack with coffee, or to get a cake for a lunch or dinner party, this is the place. Creativity, taste, texture... all of them at the highest level. Love the rose, the cherry and the 5th anniversary cake. Yum yum !!

Stopped in for breakfast but couldn't resist trying the gorgeous desserts. We tried the mango one and the Cherry one. I don't really know how to do it justice except to say that it blew away my belief of what is possible with desserts. Everything tastes like the actual ingredients and it seems like only the best ingredients are used.... More

This pastry chef studied or work in France... that shows. Instead of margarine, you get real butter. Instead of edulcorant you get real sugar. Instead of bizarre combination of tastes, you get harmonious ones. Spain was never famous for pastries as compared to France or Austria. So you seldom expect to find good pastries in some countries. But this time... More

Walked by the bakery by accident and got attracted by the colorful cakes in the window display. Got two to try and both were delicious and beautiful. Highly recommended!

Absolutely best cakes in a town! A bit pricey, but worth it! Good Nespresso coffee too. Cake lovers paradise!

We passed by the shop on our way back to the hotel, and I couldn't take my eyes of the desserts. My husband had to buy 3 just so we could keep going. It's as delicious as it looks.

The chefs here have won awards & for very good reason. We had a selection along with some coffee's. Just delicious, they look phenomenal, it felt a massive shame to put a fork in them. My word though they taste out of this world. Just go & enjoy.

Went to La Pastisseria Barcelona on our recent trip to Barcelona. This did not disappoint! The desserts are works of art. I tried the La Cirera (cherry mouse). It was too pretty and equally delicious! Would certainly recommend this to anyone who love great pastries.

This place makes absolutely stunning cakes. Not only do they look amazing, they also taste incredible. I had the cheesecake - best cheesecake I ever had. Highly recommendable!

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
