I got the tip from a blog called barcelonafoodexperience.com and decided to check this place. It was super full and surprisingly a lot of locals. We took one starter, which was amazing - paprika stuffed with fish (15 Euro) it was mind blowing. We took...More

While in Barcelona for a week we ate here twice. Just off the Barceloneta beach we chose to eat inside to get away from the sun and crowds. It was a peaceful retreat. Fresh fish dishes including Paella. My husband started with fresh anchovies and...More

We visited Can Majo for the birthday of a very good friend of us. Very good appetizers, including Zamburiñas (scallops) a la plancha, Calamarcitos con foie y verduras, Almejas a la marinera. To close in beauty as main we had Arroz a banda con bogavante...More

We have eaten in a load of Barceloneta seafood locations and this our first choice every time. Friendly and welcoming staff, great location (the outside terrace) and absolutely wonderful food. No sense of you just being one more wallet among the mass of visitors. Book...More

We ate in the outside dining area across the road. Lovely to be eating out in the warm sunshine. Food very good and so was the service. Excellent Paella (not overcooked) and also perfect clams in garlic, butter and parsley sauce. Definitely worth a visit.

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in
