Nice different beers, but quite small for the price. Is a very traditional place, always too crowded. Nice service.

Fabulous on every level...probably my favorite dining experience in Barcelona! The service was so good that our server (who didn't speak English) was drawing menu items on a napkin to help us understand! Best tapas we've had in a week, including delicious patatas bravas, jamon,...More

We found El Vaso through a recommendation. It was very busy but we managed 3 seats at the bar. The Tapas were the best we had during our stay, peppers, chorizo, manchego, anchovies and spicy tuna. If we had gone in the evening we would...More

Really wonderful place and just enough out of the way of the main restaurants. The tapas were very good, the service too and you must try their beer. Well worth a visit.

I was sent there by a reliable source. (Unnamed.) The experience was fun, the beer flowed and the tapas was spot on. Been back there twice. Not sure what authentic really looks like in 2017 but El Vaso de Oro is I suspect, getting very...More

We love coming here on a Friday afternoon to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the people passing tapas and beer on the counter. They make their own beer and their ensaladilla is great!

We visited this location for dinner based upon a recommendation from our Segway tour guide. The location was reminiscent of a bar, and extremely crowded. Do not make the mistake of leaving based upon your initial impression. We were fortunate enough to get seating. The...More

A small traditional bar in Barceloneta with a long tradition of their own beer and excellent tapas. The place is always full and rowdy, waiters are happy and fun. And the TAPAS are just incredible, I tried jabugo chorizo, boquerones, salmon, croquetas, and even the tuna...More

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in
