While walking around the ramblas we found Govinda. We were quite surprised when it turned out to be vegetarian least expecting this in Barcelona. Turned out to be a good experience. Food was ok, service was fine and up to speed.

Are you vegetarian? Do you love Indian food? Do you like authentic experiences? Do you enjoy a homely atmosphere? Then you will love this place as much as my mom and I did. The buffet is DIVINE, so is the a la carte menu. Delicious, excellent prices, great atmosphere, can't wait to go back there. SUPERB! My mom is not... More

The onion soup and the brownie were my favorite, but the rest of the food is also great. This is a very honest place, and you feel in a very cozy environment, which for me is very important. In addition to the food, Govinda seems to be a very local legend, since it was told that it was pioneer of... More

Again a very good choice for 100% Indian veg. Also they are few limited choice for Jain food also. So it's a great for Jain too. And has very good taste. But Jains need to inform them first about their priorities.

We visited the restaurant assuming it was ISKCON's Govindas chain of restaurants. Though run by an Iskcon member, the food is not as per its standards. They use onion & garlic in their food. The serving was also very slow. We could see many flies & mosquitoes in the restaurant. Can be avoided.

Not tasty, just have to see the waiter and chef... Unfriendly as well as the food, which was expensive and with no taste. Waste of time and money as paying 6€ for 2 samosas is like...a bit too much

As an Indian, I can say that this is the worst Indian restaurant of Barcelona. I went for a weekend menu. The food was not enough and horrible.

we went to this place yday. we ordered a thali and couple of curries on the thali were stale and had a bad odour. The waiter agreed that it was cooked few days ago and that the chef did not check the taste/odour before sending it off. The restuarant is totally unhygienic. Do not visit this place if you want... This restaurant is the worst I have ever seen. Do not go here. The food is so bad that bugs fly all over it. Almost in every case when more than 5 people came to eat the guy in the restaurant said I can not manage more than 2 and it's beyond my level of work load. It goes to... More
