Maybe you aren't looking for excitement or a surprise. Then L'Hortet, serving good, well-prepared food is just for you. Three courses of adult baby food will definitely appeal to the more mature visitor. A delightful creamed soup, a mixed vegetable pie, topped with filo pastry...More

L'hortet is a superior dining experience! Seriously, you don't have to be vegetarian to appreciate and love this food! We ate here when we visited Barcelona six years ago and returned for an encore. It was just as incredible as the first time! We both...More

In the same street that Biocenter there is L'hortet, I'd say that is a similar option but a bit more posh and expensive. I went for lunch and I eat a good salad (they offer a buffet) with a second course and dessert for more...More

I have visited this restaurant several times, but most recently for my mother's birthday. I'd recommend booking for a Friday night as they get quite busy towards 10pm. They prepared a wonderful dairy free sugar free cake for my mother, along with candles. It was...More

The food is very good, they have an organic salad that you can serve yourself and three different plates to choose for first and main plate very atractive. The desserts are delicious. And the staff is very kind and nice.

Excellent menu of the day. Waitresses are really nice. Busy depending on the lunch time. Everything is fresh and yummy. Don't know is if the best vegetarian in the centre of the city, but the atmosphere plus the meal are ideal.

The set meal was perfect, the decoration ( we were in the back part) was "Barcelona-ish" and the waiters were spot on. Even if you are not vegetarian, you'll love the food - oh and ask for a ginger ale as an appetizer - a...More

Small place without pretensions, for people who want to eat well and good prices. It was a long time since I visited a restaurant in Barcelona that the service was so good. The waitress recommended dishes from "La Carta" and the menu, she explained every...More

Wow...not sure where to start. Stumbled on this gem by accident and was glad I stopped and ate there. The food is fantastic. Plentiful and tasty for a reasonable cost. The staff was attentive, informative and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant if you find yourself...More

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this
gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an
