Great place to eat out in the center of Barcelona. Delicious starters and main dishes. Very attentive staff. Highly recommend.

A friendly place, with tasty catalan dishes and a good service. We went there for a dinner and shared some entries: the croquetas were really good and also the mushrooms we took. As main course I took the canelones: while I enjoyed them, it was...More

Highly recommended by friends living in Barcelona, we reserved at Senyor Parellada which turned out to be a great restaurant. The interior decoration is convivial without being excessively «designed » like many recent restaurants. The food seems great and I can vouch for the paella and...More

Located in the downtown. Great and elegant restaurant with traditional Spanish dishes, refined and well served. Excellent and courteous service. An evergreen in Barcelona with friends or family.

One of the first restaurant I've been in Barcelona, really nice inside and with a good service, the staff was really nice. The food is good, the right portion at the right price. I reccomend it

Delicious dinner and extensive menu offering a sampling of all the local Catalonian dishes. The ambiance is wonderful and service was excellent and never rushed. Highly recommend getting a few plates and appetizers to sample and share with the table. We started with iberico ham...More

We ate here several years ago and decided to return on this trip to Barcelona. It still has the charming décor and very interesting menu. But I was a little disappointed this time. The service was just okay – not as friendly as I remember....More

Six of us were there for a family event and wanted traditional food in a traditional place. We took a mixture of appetisers to begin with which were all excellent. We then moved directly to the main course and can recommend the baby squid, the...More

Since we were staying across the street and wanted a quiet last dinner in Barcelona, we decided to try this hotel restaurant. So glad we did. The quality of the food is excellent. Setting is elegant. Prices seem very reasonable including a 12 euro bottle...More

El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent
the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But
this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually
enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few
places that live and breathe such exciting energy
regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood
seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the
city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants

At Senyor Parellada the portions are regular-sized. Not small plates. And, yes, generally they do offer a menú del dia, especially for the dinar/comida/almuerzo (around 2:00pm or so).
