5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

We visited here after some recommendations after we had been to watch the fountains. It took a little while to get a table but the food that was coming out looked amazing so we decided to wait. The service once sat down was great, all the staff spoke good english and were happy to help us. The food was delicious!... More

This tapas bar had been recommended by a friend. The food was worse than average. Nothing was as hot as it should be considering it appeared to be reheated and the hair on the patatas must have been complimentary. When we mentioned it, the waitress just laughed. I rarely write a bad review of anywhere but made this place an... More

Lovely food and staff. Visited here shortly after arriving. Our waitress helped us with the menu and was great fun. Efficient friendly service.

The tapas were just ok. Best of them were the french fries covered with aiolli. The squid and octopus were both tough (overcooked). The crab salad was good. I didn't get my drink until our meal was over, despite reminding the waiters several times. The mussels were disappointing. Several of our selections would have been better if served with a... More

Tapa Tapa is, as the name already tells you, a tapas restaurant. It is located very central and easy to reach with subway. The decoration is actually very nice with some separated sofa tables and different floor levels. Unfortunately I cannot tell you same positive impressions about the food. The prices for the different dishes are just acceptable, considering the... More

Located right between La Pedrera (Casa Mila) and the Plaza Cataluyna, Tapa Tapa offers something for everyone in this large space with friendly service. Better tapas can be found in many many small neighborhood spots with smaller selections, but the location here really helps and you can't go wrong.

Stopped here for a couple of beers and a session of people watching. Sat outside (where you can see the Gaudi and other Modernist buildings) and watched the world go by. Had a look at the menu and it seemed quite expensive for waht was on offer, but you pay for the location (some of Barcelona's upmarket shops are here:... More

I've been there in the evenimg of 8th of Feb. Looks very well, clean and the food I can guarantee it's fresh and very well kept (you need to consider I work in hospitality at high standards for almost 10 years). I saw them changing the ice from the fish and seafood. I can't be a good reviewer regarding the... More

After sampling some wonderful tapas during my stay in Barcelona I was so disappointed and underwhelmed by the tapas served here. Even the lower cost didn't appease my night. Avoid

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
