After a morning stroll through Barri Gothic and a visit to the Cathedral, we were in for a nice meal. The day menu at La Crema Canela exceeded expectations - good options to choose from, great flavours (try the vanilla ice cream with mango!) and very kind waitress and waiter. Definite recommendation!

On our first trip to Barcelona we were in the square and noticed a long line for this restaurant. This led us to believe it must be good based on the number of people waiting to get in. We were right, loved the whole experience. Delicious food at a great price. On our next trip there we again ate here... More

Our plane was delayed which meant out table booking was also delayed. However, the restaurant retained our table and when we arrived late in the evening, we were looked after splendidly. Our table of eleven had orders taken quickly and as usual, when the food arrived, it all tasted exceptional and perfect in every way.The swordfish was wonderful and the... More

Go for the tartars or the carpaccio, and have a great low calorie dinner just off the best square in Barcelona. Friendly staff, the best gluten free bread in Catalonia for many years, and just very good.

A charming outside table with friendly, unfussy service and delicious, wholesome food. The set lunch was terrific value with a special mention for the tomato soup. A solid alternative to exceptionally busy neighbouring restaurant la quinze nits.

We were here for a long weekend and were recommended to call here. It was a good call. Good food sat outside in the warmth. A lovely place and not too expensive. Put up with the street entertainers; some of them are very good.

Our food was fantastic, the potatoes were splendid and I'd highly recommend the salmon. Last meal in Spain and it was a great way to end the trip. Tons of flavor! Best food in the square nearby. Make a stop here if you can

Good food, small portions, over priced, rude staff. With all the options in that part of town, no way I'd return.

We came there a group of 14 without reservation. No problem they made room for us. We did not have to wait for to long and the food was cooked just right and we had a great reccommendation for wine to company what we ordered. This was not expensive at all.
