This was our first meal in Barcelona. The decor is very impressive. You can choose either a regular table or a table by the water which has fish swimming in it. My nephew was fascinated by the fishes and the water. It definitely is a must visit for the ambience !!! We had great service as our party of 9... More

Wanna eat in a Japanese garden with wooden tables, fishes under your feet, luxuriant plants all around and a small pagoda in the middle? well, just go to Indochine, an indoor restaurant where you feel like being outside! Great menu, not really cheap but for the quality and service, 100% worthy!

The food quality is excellent regarding flavour and amount and even better if looking at the price which is fair for the complexity of the dishes. The ambiance is so relaxing with bambus, salt lamps and fountains. Tip: Try out the tables at floor level.

Being a fan of Asian food, Indochine Restaurant is another great example of great food. This restaurant is NOT the typical Chinese restaurant, and if you are looking for those prices as well, you better find an "all you can eat" buffet somewhere else. Everything from starters to the desert was perfect. Spring rolls thai/vietnamiese were the best I've tried... More

The underlying layer starts to reveal itself, after managing to seat in what appears a beautiful atmosphere you start noticing how the stools where the pots for the plants are placed are completely rusted, you can clearly see the marks that the water left where it was once, web spiders, dusty corners. Waiters do not speak spanish, nor english btw,... More

Terrible service, terrible food, too expensive, no hygiene. We will never come back. We are great fans of Asian food and this place is all about keeping up appearance with no content. If you have respect for authentic and fresh food this is not the place to be.

Overprised, we paid more than 50 euros for 2 main dishes and one starter, and it wasn't even tasty (portions were tiny btw). We didnt enjoy the servise too. I would really not recommend to go there, for us it was surprising dissapointment, I'm pretty sure that for that prise you would be easily find something much better than this... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
