Pleasant place in the earth of Barcelona. Very crowded almost every night, its menu is full of surprises. The Makis are grouped based on the "flavour": there is the "exotic", the "mediterranean", the "classic"(thanks god!) and so on. In any case, like it or not, the overall quality of the products is very high and the creativity of the chefs... More

The sushi is always good and the tempura never fails but the restaurant is always crowded and noisy to the point it has more the feel of a canteen than a proper restaurant, they could go for that but then the prices should not be what they are.

High quality sushi, quickly served and nicely presented! Aldo the restaurant was light and nicely decorated. We will definitely be returning. They have a great deal on 'menu del dia' too, although we opted to choose from the menu.

For a fixed price, they serve three courses and a desert with a drink. The sushi was delicious, and it was the happening place to be for lunch.

The japanese food can be boring, if you have tasted a lot of places. But you can find special makis here, exotic and surprising, and best of all you don't need to expend a lot of money. Good price, good food. What else?

One of the best sushi spots in barcelona. It'll take some time to get a table but it's worth the wait. Can't miss the philadelphia roll or the foie maki.

I was staying in the Gracia area and really wanted something different. We stumbled upon this Japanese place. We were seated promptly and were very attentive to any questions. We had an avocado maki (8 pieces), prawn tempura which I was told was very good, chicken teriyaki with white rice (order separately) and to end a mochi Japones. It was... More

I have been craving what Kibuka Verdi has the whole time and I didn't even know it. Outside of Japan, The States offers some pretty formidable sushi options and until I found Kibuka, I hadn't really found the level I was seeking. Barcelona is NOT known for it's world-class customer service- especially in restaurants. I guess because the restaurant/bar industry... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
