Every city should have one of these restaurants. Queue at the door, choose your fish, find a seat and enjoy a canteen- like experience. Fish are very fresh and cooked to perfection.

We went for lunch after visiting Sagrada Familia around 2pm during weekdays. There are lots of people eating in the shop, and line was not long. I suggest ordering your seafood to be grilled, unless that specific type has to be fried. Grilling really bring...More

Went our last night in Barcelona; this city has so many amazing restaurants it's hard to choose. But La Paradeta was recommended by a local and it didn't disappoint. The line started at 7:40 for a 8pm opening and it was worth the wait. You...More

Don't expect luxury, because you will not find it! Instead, you will find amazingly fresh sea food, which you will choose raw from the display table and they will cook it perfectly for you. It simple and tasty. I recommend!

I saw the large number of reviews and big queue outside and gave it a try. On the plus side you get to pick your seafood on ice but after that you get to the negatives. Food arrives at different times, you finish one bit...More

Tip: if you go during summer month with hot sun, prepare to queue with a umbrella or wear a shade to shelter from the sun, the queue can be 15mins or more ! Food: good tasty and fresh, good affordable price!

The most original thing about this place is that you choose the seafood in a market-like stand, as if you were in a fish market, and then they cook it for you and you take it back to your table. That's perhaps the only hiccup....More

They have many varieties of fish, not just shellfish, but I would strongly advise going early and even queue before it opens to be sure of the best selection as once it's gone, it's gone!
