Found this little time capsule just of the ramblas one Saturday evening with some friends. Really quirky and got loads of character. Had live music and really cool atmosphere, definitely worth a visit.

This place is chock full of character, authentic old-fashioned feel. Great affordable beer and live music with no cover charge. The women’s bathroom is hidden behind a sliding wallpapered wall in the back in case you can’t find it! Helpful staff, we had a great...More

This bar was recommended to us by some locals. We thought it would be touristy given the name and location, but it was fabulous. Yes, there were lots of tourists there, however there were also lots of locals. We listened to a local band who...More

Nothing flash about this place, but like other reviews it was a good place for a drink as was near my hotel, friendly staff, good drinks, can't fall off really.

This bar was literally next door to our hotel so whilst we frequented it many times we didn't actually eat there. The venue is a must see though as the history is unique. The owners had deliberately retained much of the ambience in the decoration...More

We have visited the Bar during our stay in Barca. It looks very outdated and poor these days, really, don't expect too much! The drinks are fine, but what can go wrong at that point :-), we had live-music from a guy with a guitar...More

A historic bar on the edge of the Ramblas district. The cocktails are strong, tasty and reasonably priced. Good, friendly and efficient service. There was also live music at the second visit. A must!

This bar isn't much to look at but they serve great drinks at reasonable prices and have live music a couple nights a week. It's much bigger when you get inside so you will get a table. House wine is the best we had

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this
gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an
excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic

authenticity protrudes from the many independent
record stores, second hand shops, and student bars
that seem to light up the streets day and night. The
rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
