The food was okish. I didn't really understood the menu portions. We had half octopus with patatos and half veal with french fries and both were a little too much! The veal was mehhh... They do not mention the size/portion and you don't have an...ideea on what you get. The staff was friendly.More

We are ordering a 1 tapas pork, instead of this they give us a huge portion of 2 racinones that will hard eatable for 6 people. They charge 35 euro for this. They trying to push you to pay for the bigger portions instead of...tapas. They have to explain what are you ordering. If you call yourself as good restaurant you have to speak a minimum English and explain how big is the portion. If you ordering a tapas don't bring 2 raciones. Bacalao crockets has no Bacalao taste at all, only potato. Very badMore

My family and i had dinner here during Easter weekend of April 2023. Booking was little difficult as management did not speak much English, but somehow we communicated and booking as made, It's about 15 minute walk from Urgell metro station. It seem to be...where locals hang-out but tourists were welcomes as well. We ordered 1/2 portion of Mariscada O'Retorno (mixed shellfish) and patata bravas, 3 of us struggle to finish our food. It was an huge amount of prawns, scampie, razor clam, musscles and more clams, but it was only 1/2 portion as well. Shellfish were cooked to perfection and very fresh. My family really enjoyed this meal, it was probably best food we had in Barcelona.More

We ate here on a Saturday at about 8pm. Our party of ten enjoyed the tapas we selected ( pulpo, chipirones, vieiras, navajas, jamon) and the house wine was crisp and tasty. Price was not bad at about 25 euros per head for a meal...that consisted of tapas, wine, water, and a dessert. The chupito at the end was on the house! Good value for money. Had to leave after two hours for the 10pm reservations and felt a bit rushed. My one star less was for the squeezed seating inside the restaurant as they cram as many people in as possible.More

We visited twice during out stay in Barcelona and it was excellent. The food, the service, the atmosphere was all really good. Try the Ox tail, try the Galician steak, it was all very tasty, well presented and delicious. I know they specialize in seafood...buy I'm allergic so I had to try something different and it didn't disappoint.More

I visited with a Catalan family for a birthday. We had the best and most tender Pulpo con Cachelos (octopus) that I've ever eaten. The Jamón de Bellota was first class, as were the Parrillada de Pescado (mixed grilled fish) and Mariscada O'Retorno (mixed shellfish)....The service was impeccable and we had a fabulous lunch!More

Lived in Barcelona for 2 years, and this has hands-down been the most enjoyable restaurant to eat at. My partner and I go as often as possible to order the half-portion octopus (25 euro), and a rump steak (22 euro). The house vermouth has a...nice caramel flavor that is also excellent. When my colleagues visit me in Barcelona, I usually suggest we visit this restaurant. Unfortunately it's hard to get a table, so if you are comfortable speaking Spanish then call them. Otherwise, I tend to go in person to book a table for the following day when possible. 10/10, my favourite restaurant in Barcelona.More

The restaurant was recommended by a friend who visit it regularly. We reserved a table and it was a good decision, as it got full fairly quickly. We've ordered quin scallops for a starter, which was a big let down. The product was obviously frozen...and that was very apparent when tasted it. We choose a famous Galician octopus for our main course, except that the octopus wasn't Galicia, it was most likely Moroccan, or Chinese. It was well cooked, but the taste wasn't there. The service, the ambience and the company was good and that saved the night.More

A restaurant with a soul and a goal: bring you the best of Galicia’s food. From the starters to the wine, everything was very good. I particularly appreciated the quality of the details. A simple thing can be transformed in a wonderful experience and I...have to say they served the best pan con tomate I ever tried in a Spanish restaurant. Maybe the shrimps were too dry for us, but we could recognise some good quality there. We will be back with the families just to give you guys the 5 stars. See you very soon and thank you all for the nice experience!More

We had just arrived in Barcelona and were looking to have Crema Catalan. We had noticed from perusing menus on our earlier walk that this establishment had this on their menu so planned to return. In the evening we returned to this establishment. Staff were...not very friendly or engaging. All the outside seating was taken so we sat at the bar and ordered the Crema Catalon which was not very good. It appeared to have been made earlier in the day and sat in refrigeration. I prefer the Crema to be warm not cold and slightly watery. The tapas looked like they had been sitting for sometime and appearance not very appetizing, personally would not return.More

This restaurant was recommended by a worker in the nearby Mercado del Ninot. We enjoyed the food - especially the octopus. Another positive was that they gave large green salads which we did not find available often in Barcelona. The decor is not fancy but...fresh seafood, large green salads and a few glasses of reasonably priced wine are just the right combination for our taste.More
