This is a restaurant with quality presentation in terms of both ambiance and food in great surroundings. The waiting staff are extremely pleasant and helpful although one gets the impression that the management is trying to make limited numbers spread as they were under evident pressure. The set menus are great value. On the particular one we tried they serve... More

I have been to Kuletos about 6 times but not previously reviewed, each time would have been 4 or above. On this occasion they just offered a restricted menu rather than the full Noche choice. This meant we didn't get the full experience. The salads were not as substantial, the tapas not inclusive and the choice not impressive. The black... More

Memorable meal in a cosy unique little restaurant. Art Deco/Catalan fusion decor. The night we visited they played a Charlie Chaplin movie and had a live pianist providing the musical accompaniment to the movie. Food was imaginative and varied. We tried rabbit in a ragout sauce with snails and the grilled lobster. They were both superbly prepared and the service... More

This lovely small restaurant is a great escape from the small Rambla Poblenou walking street and outdoor eateries just around the corner. I've eaten here several times, and never been disappointed. They do have an English menu and are really patient with guests, walking you through the choices with descriptions and translations of the daily menu. Attentive service, really excellent... More

we stumbled upon this restaurant walking from the metro so took our chances and went inside. We were very welcome. Offered complimentary sangria which was the nicest I tasted during my trip. Then given complimentary garlic mushrooms and tomato bread with a garlic dip. Only ordered a main meal which was lovely washed down with more sangria and was offered... More

Staying in Poblenou

Neighbourhood Profile
The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centres catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.
