If you to take out your lady or your business partner and have dinner on a nice restaurant, with great food, not show off and have privacy and low music noise so that you can have a conversation, then this is the place to be. The food is really really nice, especially the meat and the tartar which is a... More

Everything is awesome. Staff is incredibly nice and brings food when your plate is empty. Food is perfect and among the freshest I have tried. Cellar features all the best wines in the world (Pétrus, Pingus, chateau margaux, romanée Conti...) An incredible evening. Indeed.

This was our second visit to this "hidden" upscale eatery. Entry is initially through a martini bar, only then to wind through a kitchen maze, and finally back into a tastefully decorated dining area. The menu choices are clearly "elegant" in scope, a bit unique, but all are executed with professionalism, and many are, frankly, delicious! Overpriced, certainly by Barcelona... More

The restaurant is tucked away through a 'secret passage' from the bar through the kitchen and located in the alcohol stock room. Great atmosphere and tasty food! The bar in front is very great for drinks.

Outstanding services and excellent food if a little heavy on the salt. Extensive but pricey wine list. Terrific ambience that adds to the overall impression that this is a special place!

Came here with a large party pre booked. Bar is all leather and gentleman club theme. Moved into the modern glass surrounded restaurant with a feature wall of all the booze they have. We had a lovely set meal with fantastic service. Bit weird: some of the restaurant space is used for storage. After dinner we were taken through the... More

We read about this restaurant on tripadvisor and decided to try it out. We came in after closing hours but they decided to let us enter. The service was exceptional! We have never experienced more dedicated waiters or chefs. First we got an apetizer including salmon and avocado, without ordering any apetizer. The main course was a perfectly prepared beef,... Description
Speakeasy Clandestine Back Room Restaurant is an emblematic space that became the first venue establishing a new concept by using a password to acces. Hidden in the former Dry Martini warehouse, clandestine restaurant Speakeasy recreates a gastronomic space remembering the popular clandestine establishments that characterized Chicago and New York's society during the Prohibition in the USA in the twenties. A place where mystery and anonymity are synonym to luxury. A spot where privacy is public , the basic is classic and the classic is definitely modern. Unique Food&Cocktail Pairing Menu of Speakeasy where the creation of the dish is inspired by the cocktail to enjoy a different gastronomic experience at midday or at night.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
