Try the set menu as the frist dish is a surprise and very enjoyable. The main course was well serviced and the local wine wonderful. Considering the price of the set menu at 20 euro for three courses it's the best value we have had on our current tour. The service is friendly and helpful.

Great lunch and dinner menus and great tapas - a must visit in Girona multiple times. All ingredients are of the highest quality like Michelin star restaurants for the price of a normal restaurant

Tried their 3 course daily meal recently and it was very good. Priced around 12 EUR/person with drinks and bread included. Service was perfect, our waiter (Mark) was very tentative, although spoke a little English, we understood pretty much everything. Restaurant was located in the historical center of Girona, very convenient to a nearby parking and/or public transport. So communication... More

Nothing special.... mediocre food and sub par service. Unfortunately this is the norm in a lot of places in Girona, but you could do a lot worse on Plaza Independencia.

A few late-night tapas to finish off Sunday after a large lunch elsewhere! Some fried Calamari, Ham Croquettes, Anchovies, and cold Mackerel. Ice Cream to follow, and coffee, with a couple of beers to wash it down. A real bargain at just ‎€26 for two people!

They charge 0.25 eur more for seating outside for each product, and it was obviously in small print. Every request took ages, eve when there were only 3 tables occupied, we even had to go to pay to the counter after the waitress took forever. Not coming back ever again.

Boira is one of many places to get tapas in Placa de la Independencia. They seem to have the more interesting selection among the three restaurants on the square that we sampled during the four days we stayed very nearby, at Hotel Cuitat De Girona. We ate outside at tables on the square and they were very acomodationg to ensure... More

20 euro each for starter, main, desert, bread and water. Had cod carpachio for starter, veal t bone for main and gelato for desert. all were great and it's got a good location on the independence square. Would definitely recommend.

During a visit in the old town, you will find many restaurant on the plaza de l'indepencia. El Boira offers nice seating with a view on the plaza and Catalan food at a reasonable price. Staff is polite and fast. We recommend the codfish and the "filet de vedella con foie". Looked great and tasted even better!

This restaurant is surprisingly good, bearing in mind it has a fantastic location in a tourist spot! We had the menu del dia, which was very reasonably priced and included a drink. My starter was tuna with potato, which was lovely (although very large!) my main course was hake with courgette spaghetti - absolutely lovely - the fish was cooked... More
