We visit this tapas bar on lots of occasions during our stay n Sitges. The wide variety of hot and cold tapas is astounding! Made even more delicious by serving Basque Cidre! Very welcoming service and great tradition atmosphere. A must for any tapas lover.

Good choice of tapas and wines by the glass. No sherries at all; I asked. Good prices; can sit by the bar or sit at a table.

We stayed with friends who had rented an apartment for the winter and this was their local. We went several times, lured in by the sign saying they made the worst vermouth in the world. They didn't, it was excellent as were the magnificent array of chilled pinxos and the wonderful freshly cooked hot tapas that arrived at just the... More

Went here twice. Once with family and then as a couple. It is a great little bar with a great selection of very tasty pinxtos at pretty good prices. I would recommend with no hesitation. The house red was very nice at a reasonable 2.5 euro's a glass. You grab a plate , take what you want and your bill... More

We visited here to try the tapas, they tasted OK (not amazing and they weren't cheap) but after we had started eating we were slightly put off by the realisation that the food was left uncovered on the bar and there were lots of flies around. What really appalled us though was that one of the chef's came out to... More

When we first arrived in Sitges we passed this taps bar and later that evening went back, amazing tapas that are spread out all along the entire bar area, we ended up going back 2 more times, the later the better as they put out more and more new items as the evening progresses, it's filled with tourists and locals... A friend recommended us El Donostiarra on Calle Nou. We were 6 of us and when we called to ask whether they had space they told us they were full. They suggested however to call their other place on Calle Mayor, which is called the same. The restaurant was not exactly cosy or inviting. Football was on (Barca was playing)... More

You select from the various tapas or pintxos that they have on display, each has a toothpick stuck into the finger-food item. At the end of your meal you take your plate up to the bar (if you are not already sitting by the bar) and they count your toothpicks to know how much you owe, pretty neat. I loved... More
