I'm embarrassed to say that I really struggle with eating in Spain. My body clock goes to hell. The hotels concierge made our reservation at what she said was a restaurant that served true Galician fare. Arriving at 20:30 we advised the host/owner that we had a reservation. With great flourish, he opened "the book". Checking through the page he... More

Located on Rue Galera, a street along the edge of the old town. You come here for traditional dining, nothing modern or experimental about it... exactly what we wanted. The font room is a bar and casual dining area, the back solely dining. The menu is broad, featuring quite a bit rom land and sea... we started with a great... More

On Sunday there are fewer places from which to chose. The hotel recommended and it was a 15 min walk. It was not crowded (Sunday and early for Spain). My waiter made the evening - great service, great recommendations and the food was very good. Table next to me had a demanding, know it all tourist and our waiter handled... More

This restaurant was recommended by the hotel staff and we are very grateful that they did. You get a lot of food for minimal price. The service was excellent and the food and choices for superb. Highly recommended.

Welcome was very warm and friendly. Waitress very accommodating with our lack of Spanish and bought us a number of local nibbles to try between courses. Food excellent, well prepared and presented.

This place is a gem! Our waiter Ricardo's recommendations were excellent (clams, goat stew, and veal filet) and his service was outstanding. Portions are very generous ... you might consider asking for half portions which were also offered for some menu items. Everything was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious.

Our journey through Spain had provided flawless dining over the previous 12 days. Being greeted by a kindly, slightly balding gentleman upon entering Quijote gave us the impression that we were in for another satisfying culinary experience. The evening went well with my wife enjoying her fresh steamed crab. I had ordered a half dozen Langostino along with a small... More

Maybe expectations were set too high. I received this place as a recommendation from our hotel and was told that it would be less of a touristic place and that it had the Michelin recommendation.... We went with one of the specialities of the house - the seafood paella coming in at 46 euros. Yes, the seafood was fresh, but... More

Had a very good family lunch here. Would have given 5 stars but some menu items were not available on the day. Excellent local produce and very friendly and helpful service

I liked the setting and thought the service was very good, but frankly the food was average. We tried a number of the local specialities, but couldn't see anything to get excited about here. Didn't really see why it is highly rated in this town. Since been on a fox tour of Santiago and tasted much better and at no greater... More
