Been here over several years. Food excellent as ever...waiter a tad overpowering but don't be put off by that. Owner not on duty tonight (she's lovely!)... Bit off the beaten track in Irish Town but definitely worth seeking out...

I'd say Michelin recommended. From the outside seemed to be empty but then we realised most of the tables were booked. Very friendly and professional staff; fresh food and great combinations. You can choose any seafood/meat/veggie recipe as a base for risotto or various pasta. Hot mango and langoustine salad were delicious. Definitely recommend to visit. The only disadvantage is... More

I have multiple allegies so I am always a challenge for chefs. The menu choice was varied and impressive and every effort was made to meet my special needs even though they were very busy. would go there again.

My wife had her Birthday meal here earlier this week and we were all thoroughly impressed by the food, service and atmosphere here. can't believe we haven't been in here before now but we'll definitely make a habit of eating here more often. The feta Cheese parcels are legendary on the rock, and didn't disappoint. My main of Chorizo and... More

We visit Gibraltar two or three times a year for a short break, and have just returned from our latest visit. We decided to walk along Irish Town to find somewhere for dinner and found the Cafe Rojo. At first we thought it was part of the big establishment next door, but thought we would give the Rojo a try.... More

The owner, Annetta is a great character. She made us most welcome, explained the story behind her art work and fended off some playful leg pulling from some other diners, who clearly knew her, with style and panache. Brilliantly infectious laugh - Cybil Fawlty eat your heart out. We had a superb evening. The food was superb, imaginative and really... More

On a one day visit to The rock (ample time) we were very disillusioned by the dreadful tacky cafe/restaurants on offer mostly serving fish & chips with pints of lager, there is an aroma of cooking fat in the main Street! Thankfully we stumbled across Cafe Rojo, full of local business people serving modern food , sensibly priced with a... More
