My wife and I visited this restaurant whilst in Madrid and were blown away. Some of the food was up there with the best we’ve ever had. Every dish was packed with flavour, and had a modern twist on Tapas. The Mussels in an Indian...More

With all the choices in Madrid, it's hard to decide on what to eat. My husband and I had the same argument - and he tricked me into coming to Gastromaquia. As our dishes started to arrive, I was pleasantly surprised by how good the...More

The restaurant is not very big, so make sure to have a reservation. We were six and ordered two "arroces negros" and one "arroz abanda" and the arroz abanda was good, but it's more like a paella than a true arroz abanda. The "arroz negro"...More

Visited with colleagues and ended up going two days in a row. Excellent food and attentive staff. I would definitely recommend the paella or fish on a bed of saffron risotto.

There are no words that can describe this place. The food was just out of this world. Its a hole in the wall and not any where in the busy area. But a great restaurant for people who love GOOD FOOD. Highly highly recommend Gastromiquia....More

Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where
