This Thai restaurant is very well located, just a few minutes from Puerta de Alcalá and The Retiro park. The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing! Curries (especially green curry) are awesome, but Pad Thai is extremely good and reminds me the one you can have in the streets of Bangkok.

Went after a night out with friends - had lunch. It was good quality - price was decent. Had shrimp dim sum (steamed) as an appetizer and red curry chicken as a main. Would come again- price was moderate to cheap and the restaurant is clean. Not a lot of ambiance but would def. come back

We love thai food, and we went to eat during the day with the daily menu, the taste was very authentic, we ordered the red curry and the minced meat with chilli and basil, it was wonderful and spicy like it should be. the service is good and the location is excellent, near the Retiro. we will definitely come back.

We went to Thaidy not for the first time but never wrote a review. Yesterday we went again and had the starter combination which is awesome and great value for money. Then we have chosen crispy duck and fiah. We asked to seperate the sauce from the duck which kept the duck crispy. The waiter is very nice and the... More

We rented an apartment in Madrid right above Thaidy, and I was delighted when we finally decided to give it a try... cozy place, extremely efficient service and exquisite thai food. I'll willing to return there next January.

Positive: This is a great Thai restaurant located in Salamanca district. The flavors are authentic. Service is fast and friendly. Cozy place, nice atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Negative: They could serve more rice along with the main dishes. The background music is monotonous and could be softer. Overall: Definitely a recommendation!

I ordered curry and pad thai and the duck red curry was soaking in cream, so think that it was impossible to eat. In fact, gave it away. Red curry wasn't sharp and it looked like these home made curries by someone who doesn't know how to cook and puts loads of cream. The pad thai was ok, nothing extraordinary.... More

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
