One of the most famous places in Madrid to have chocolate con churros. Not expensive at all, nice service, nice food :)

Chocolate so good you regret not choosing the biggest size for your churros and find yourself licking fingers… You obviously come back. It's so good that there is constantly a few waiting in queue but their service is quite fast and you usually don't wait...long for your tasty reward.More

Nothing much to say really we had great times eating churros, porras and drinking their hot chocolates. We’ll definitely do it again when we come back to Madrid.

We had an amazing time at San Gines: it is a must for anyone wanting a taste of Madrid’s culture. The churros and hot chocolate were delicious, and it is open 24/7, so very nice for late night craves.

This place has a long standing reputation and now it has become a tourist attraction. You truly feel like in a supermarket, doing the queue. Nothing special. The chocolate is ok but not more. To be done once and clearly being open 24hr has its...advantagesMore

I have the pleasure to experience this iconic food in Madrid. The churros here were delicious and a hot cup of chocolate in a really cold day is the perfect combo. I highly recommend visit this iconic place. We have to wait a little bit...but that would be normal since it is a really famous spot. The only reason I give a 4 stars is because the staff was not really nice nice and kind. It almost seemed that we were bothering them by being there. Perhaps that is normal in really touristic places, however, I always appreciate a kind staff.More

San Gines is a classic, and therefore, it´s considered as a touristy must do. Besides this fact, their Churros and Chocolate are very good and should be a part of every itinerary in Madrid.

I don't have any nut allergy so probably won't be the best person to answer your query but the staff there is very friendly and would be glad to help you out if you asked them the same. There's plenty of other things to eat... More
