White table cloths and very nicely set tables, still with a cosy and familiar atmosphere. Absolutely great tastes! Wonderful tomatoes! Wonderful mushrooms! Wonderful fish! Good wine. A unique mix of feeling like being on the country side enjoying real down to earth genuine food and cooking and being in an elegant capital city restaurant. Make a reservation! Is in a... More

I really like this place. Might not be the most pleasant place in the inside or not have a great location, but the main reason to recommend q restaurant is the food. Always super fresh and top quality ingredients, cooked imperfect combinations makes the majority of its dishes delicious!! I do like to repeated whenever I am around this area...

I went to have lunch yesterday at Quenco de Pepa's and it was simply great. Sitting outside on a nice hidden terrace we were welcomed by Ms. Pepa. We had the famous tomato salad which was simply great. You can tell that these tomatoes have seen their fair share of sun - you can still taste it. But not only... More

Coming back to this restaurant was a most. The food, the ambiance and service is excellent. Not a tourist restaurant. This is where the locals eat. As first plate we had a tomato with verduras, the tomatos are the biggest that I have seen and very good, as second plate we had langostinos rojos, cigalas and red meat small portion...all... More

Nice little restaurant within walking distance of the NH Eurobuilding Hotel. Reservations recommended especially for weekends. Wide selection of fish and meat and very nice wine list.

While not all of the food is vegetarian, any such visitor will be very happy with the many choices on the menu. We ordered the baby artichokes, the baby squid in its ink and a turbot filet and while we were very satisfied, we felt the dishes were rather ordinary even if the food quality is extremely high. The artichokes... More

If you get over the fact that this is a Spanish place with very few tourists, and the fact that they are not overly warm hearted in their service, this is an amazing place to eat. its more of a business restaurant but the food is amazing. Their home grown tomatoes are to die for (try it with burrata), and... More

We had a wonderful dinner here in spite of the fact that we showed up 30 minutes late because we went to the 'closest metro stop' according to tripadvisor. I mention this bc I always trust them for reviews but I'm not sure how the metro and location info is vetted and we went 4 stops too far and were... More

This is sadly the kind of place that would be considered "r*cist" in the USA or UK but is supposedly OK in Spain. They'll look down their noses at you for not speaking Spanish fluently and stick you upstairs in their equivalent of the naughty corner. Commit the double sin of not reserving (which is fine in much of Madrid)... More
