It used to be a good place to eat pizza some years ago but it is not anymore. I've been there today and I didn't like it at all. The pizza was reheated and full of oil. I am really disappointed with the food.

Visit recently to Madrid, i was anxious about the number of readily available, delicious but affordable pizza options I could find here. "Pizza al Cuadrado" is really high quality Roman-Italian style pizza. They have something like 6-8 pizzas available at any given time, all BY THE SLICE! I tried the the "Margarita", were delicious. Also, the service was exceptionally friendly.

We were looking for something to eat before leaving madrid. We had previously looked around the 9th floor of El Corte Ingles as it has awesome views over the city. There is so much choice up there and all high quality but we decided to have the pizza. There is a wide variety of choice but I had the goats... More

We have been to Pizza Cuadrado several times and it's one of our favorite pizza places in Madrid. The dow is perfect and the toppings are very creative and include unusual italian ingredients like porchetta and truffle sauce. PC is a nice and informal spot, with a long and comfy bar that invites to try a few slices and a... More

Went there with my daughters and they love the pizza. Easy, cheap and tasty pizzas. I like the way they cut the pizza and serve it. The flavors were pretty good.

Big slice of pizza with a drink for around £6, or about £9 for 3 slices inc. drink. Lots of choices. Tasted good as well.

Most friendly staff I've ever encountered and most original pizza ideas, this place has it all. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and the atmosphere is great, buzzing but not cramped or too loud. It not being a conventional ordering system probably not the place to take a family but aside from that, definitely go!

Great little spot in the gourmet section of El Corte Ingles Castellana. Excellent value for money and fast and friendly service. These are pizzas unlike any you will have tasted in Madrid. The base is incredible and light, more like ciabatta than traditional pizza base. The choice of toppings is very refreshing. Always lots of vegetables on offer and well... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighbourhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
