Milos is the sister restaurant of Mythos, located in calle Apodaca, where we have been going for years. Because Mythos was closed since they are transforming the inside of the restaurant, and we ad to celebrate a special occasion, we decided to try out Milos. The menu in both restaurants is the same and the quality between one and the... More

Plenty of venues in Madrid sport a Greek menu..places whose menu isn't Greek..the onomatopeia perhaps..but when your menu isn't, the cuisine isn't, the owners/cooks aren't, the wine list, the decor, the music playing on the background -even if it is playing in loop - one shouldn't abuse the Greek culinary culture. Milos is my number one recommendation for Greek food... More

We just happened to be walking past and we were hungry (2 adults and a 5 year old) - it worked out really well. We had their set lunch and it was fabulous. Neither of us speak Spanish and yet the staff were really helpful. Service was swift, food was tasty and bill was value for money - what more... More

I've visited this restaurant 2 or 3 times. Luckily the annoying dancing couple does not show up any more now. Food is still OK-ish but getting more and more expensive for what you get. Appetizers more or less OK, but mains less so.

While the restaurant aims to provide a more high-end experience of the traditional Greek, it comes very short of that idea. The decoration is less clichéd than usual but the food is barely Greek except for its name. It has far too many Spanish elements which ruin the experience and the service is absolutely horrible. There are no suggestions or... More

Visiting Madrid and tired of food. Go to Milos, good food, and great fun. I think I ate the best calamari I've ever had tonight here at Milos. A plus is that Milos has a great assortment of fresh vegetable dishes that are tough to come by in Madrid

Being a Greek myself I was surprised to find in Madrid such a nice Greek restaurant with out of the box dishes and not just the usual mousaka stuff. Nice varieties and the menu degustacion is carefully selected. Needs some work on the wine list though as there are a lot better Greek wines available out there than what I... More

My wife and I were always fans of Greek food, which is in short supply in Madrid, where we have just recently settled. Thus, we were delighted to find this restaurant near our infant son´s kindergarten. Since the reviews were fairly good, we decided to give it try. It was a Friday afternoon, around 6:30 pm, when my wife called... More

A great Greek restaurant in Madrid with real Greek flavors. The staff is very friendly and the food fresh and delicious. I recommend the octopus on the grill and the Kleftico. I go there often and I always leave satisfied. It is an excellent choice for lunch or dinner. Also on Saturday nights there is live Greek dancing.

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
