I have been to this Japanese restaurant in the heart of Madrid (Gran Via), and every time we have had pleasant experience contrary to the reviews on tripadvisor. We may have picked their best dishes to avoid bad experience. Karaage (fried chicken), beef tataki, tempura...More

I saw many times this restaurant passing through Chueca, and I imagined it like the paradise of Japanese cuisine. Now I now that all this is terribly false. The ambience is a contemporary design which gives a nod to the oriental lines, but it's the...More

We found the sushi way over priced for the quality of what you receive. This was the first time we had eaten sushi in Madrid and could only compare it too experiences of eating sushi in other countries. The restaurant and service were all fine,...More

We were out looking for sushi in Madrid when we late one evening stumbled upon this restaurant. It's very classy and I recommend sitting at the counter near the open kitchen to observe the food being made. We ordered different maki-rolls and were very pleasantly...More

Excellent sushi and sashimi. The vegetable tempura was also delicious and very light. Very nice atmosphere and friendly service. Food was a bit pricey but well worth it and weekdays get a substantial discount by booking on restalo.com

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant right behind the Gran Via when others were still closed until 8:30. We found both the sushi and the entrees to be fresh and delicious.

I ordered sashimi mix when I was there. The fish was sliced in dices so it was not all tender as it should be. It was also full of mayonese and dressing. The nigiri and maki was okay, but it was not the freshest fish...More

Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where
many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where
the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and
people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main
thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is
Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables
serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture
of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses
