What a gem. Right near to the galleries and Atocha. Needed a good lunch before getting on a train for a long journey. This place looks like a bar where men sit around watching football but in the back there is a small room where food is served. We ordered from the Menu del Dia, a lot of choice, portions... More

A Spanish restaurant you look for. Very various and delicious tapas in a typical environment with Spanish people and without tourists. Nice service. A good address in the north of Madrid.

The octopus was exquisite. Enjoyed the ox tail as well. Patient server, we were seven at the table. Several requests to split. Food excellent and portions more than generous. To finish it off complimentary rice pudding and ice cream bars. A very nice experience.

Had a business dinner at this place which is one of few in the city that offers reservations before 8pm. The food was outstanding, especially the jamon and pulpo tapas. We sat outside in the enclosed area on a wonderful September evening. Many local were coming to the restaurant for dinner or a drink. Highly recommended.

We were taken to this place by a colleague who lived on that street a couple of years ago. She said it was good and it certainly was. Some of the best tapas I have ever eaten. The beer was good too. We returned the following night without or Spanish colleague and found the service lacked a little haste (attentiveness)... More

This is the local restaurant for when I visit my in-laws so I tend to take it for granted, but the food really is some of the best i have eaten in Madrid. Last time we had wonderful razor clams, fantastic scallops - vieiras -- great tasty squid with pimientos de padron, a wonderful Albariño. It was lunchtime in July... More
