We were lucky to get a reservation at 8:30 pm when the restaurant opens. As other writers said, the potato and eggs were phenomenal. My wife had ratatouille, which was very tasty. I had the entrecote, which was lovely and pre-sliced. We had a lovely...More

This was on our food venture hunt down target. Found this place after a long walk and navigating the streets but we made it. It was very popular and we had no reservations so we had to queue. Fortunately there was a table that was...More

To start with a positive - the main meat dishes were tasty and the menu choices are extensive so if you want a restaurant with plenty of choice go here. However, we found our waiter to be frosty, disinterested and just going through the motions....More

We had a group dine here (17 of us) and the starters and deserts were lovely as was the service. The only issue we had was the main course - the fish was excellent, yet the people who ate the meat (lamb) seemed to get...More

A must try. Gorgeous, simple food done well. Very impressed with their customer service- they remembered I was a coeliac- didn’t have to explain myself again. I felt so cared for.

We went here for a birthday lunch on a Sunday. The service was very attentive although the restaurant becomes a bit chaotic mid-afternoon so it is not that prompt. That restaurant is a wonderful old institution and has a great atmosphere. And the food is...More

Overall experience was really positive, service was prompt, if a bit terse, food was mostly well executed. Definitely recommend going here once for traditional dishes, and definitely recommend this over Botin. Ordered the croquettes, as we did almost everywhere, and they were some of the...More

La Latina
La Latina is a charming neighbourhood with two unique
personalities. At first glance, it’s distinctly
old-world, with narrow streets weaving a maze among
charming stone buildings in sunny, bright colors like
yellow and pink. The other side of La Latina is
characterized by a young population and a bohemian
vibe, as evidenced by a dynamic and evolving selection

The portion is very generous indeed. You have a big bread awaiting you on the table and the dishes are served with fries (thin ones - so delicious we ordered another portion!) Enjoy it! You will not regret for sure!
