The place is very busy, the service is friendly and rapid.Your dining experience may be influenced by where you are seated as there are a few seating areas, some better than others. The food was acceptable but nothing startling. The room we were sat in was bright and chilly...More

I do agree, this restaurant is a Tourist trap. But the fact that they have excellent food makes the "tourist trap" a mute point. We went here and ate excellent food. The Chuletas de Cordero, Solomillo, Hake and Bass all amazing. We ordered Some eggs...More

We visited as a party of 8. Our waiter's service was very poor and it put a damper on the meal. It was hard to tell why the waiter was inattentive, but it was probably simply because the restaurant is a tourist mill. We wanted...More

I wanted paella, so I was prepared to be disappointed, because they didn’t have paella. When the food came though, I forgot all about paella. 😊. Food was so great, service was so great!!! Loved the sea bass, la presa, croquette, and calamari. Yumm!!!!

We had an excellent business dinner...huevos estrellados and mucho mas, and we had the pleasure to be entertained by the owner Lucio, somebody with a great charisma, able to share his passion and his pride. Very nice experience in the heart of Madrid

This place is a classic and a favorite of the king of Spain. Do try the huevos estrellados, you will love them.

We were a group of five, and had such a wonderful evening dining at this restaurant. The sautéed mushrooms were truly some of the most delicious things I have ever tasted, and we shared the large steak between three people and it was incredibly flavorful....More

Casa Lucio is the kind of place where time seems to slow down. Waiters in white jackets, a menu that serves traditional Spanish cuisine, decor from the previous century. You'll enjoy Spanish food here as it always was, hearty dishes, specifically meats that are cooked...More

My experience of this restaurant was to a great extent marred by the environment, which was pleasant enough in may respects, but the room was so resonant and noisy as to make it very difficult to communicate with my fellow dinners. The service was good...More

Had a lovely evening meal here. It's wise to book ahead and for about 9pm or later as our table was booked for 8:30pm and the doors were locked until then. We felt we had arrived a bit too early. Waiting staff very pleasant.

La Latina
La Latina is a charming neighbourhood with two unique
personalities. At first glance, it’s distinctly
old-world, with narrow streets weaving a maze among
charming stone buildings in sunny, bright colors like
yellow and pink. The other side of La Latina is
characterized by a young population and a bohemian
vibe, as evidenced by a dynamic and evolving selection
of new bars, shops, coworking spaces, and other

The portion is very generous indeed. You have a big bread awaiting you on the table and the dishes are served with fries (thin ones - so delicious we ordered another portion!) Enjoy it! You will not regret for sure!
