We attended Bazaar on the recommendation of our hotel. We have been in Spain for 2 weeks, travelling from Barcelona, Granada, Seville, Cordoba, and now Madrid. This was our worst meal on our trip so far. The service was very ordinary. It was fascinating to...More

The quality of the food is ok, not awesome but not bad. The service is very slow , even when the restaurant is empty can take a little bit longer to the waiter come to attend you! The good point is the price - already...More

Restaurant is at a small junction with restaurants/cafes galore. The decor is appealing - lots of white & looks very chic. We came for lunch and the 3 course set (including a drink) at below Euro 12 a head was a steal. We had paella,...More

Never again! Service is absolutely awful. Why they put kids without any kind of basic training to deal with people... I guess this a reflection of their management. Food is just mediocre .There many other choices in the area ... stay AWAY.More

On the advice of lonely planet we had dinner at Bazaar. It was busy but it's huge. The decor is upscale - clean white with symmetrical groceries lining the walls - it must have been a former shop "bazaar". We had tapas - Greek salad...More

I have a history with Bazaar. It has become a tradition for me to visit every time I am in Madrid. Tonight we ordered a potato dish with salmon for our appetizer. It was very good. Then we had the duck confit and the three...More

Sunday night meal, arrived at 8.30, plenty of seats then but got much busier later. Food was very good and presentation was excellent, service attentive, wines were good and all good value. Very modern decor, comfortable, clean, well lit.

Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where
many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where
the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and
people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main
thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is
Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables
serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture
of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses
