You may find long lines on weekends, but it's worth the wait. The chicken is delicious and you should order their other specialty, cider

I should have trusted some of the reviews that l had read, l will not return. The food was very average, for some reason it was very crowded, so there are a regular clientale that enjoy La Camocha. The food was very average, the service was poor, maybe it is just my taste

This is not a michelin star restaurant. We went there for a late night bite with some friends. The croquettas were made with Ham of York.. The fried calamari were standard and the patatas bravas were patatas. My white wine was bad, but hey.. this is a barrio bar... We didn't expect much and didn't get much.

Me and my wife ordered a special deal (fried potato on eggs with hamon) and jar of beer. The glasses were filthy, after we asked to replace - the new ones were dirty as well, so we gave up. So were the forks... The dish was full of oil...The wi-fi didn't work. We left in 10 minutes without finishing the... More

Actually maps show 2 restaurants with the same name on Fuencarral street. We popped in to the one between metro stations Bilbao and Tribunal. We just wanted to order chorizo sausages in cider and local sidreria seemed a right place for such choice. Off course we ordered two glasses of cider and were given one of their rice dishes (with... I can't believe my husband's work mates took us here. Other then the same menu as all the other tourist traps (ham, octopus, peppers, eggs with potatoes) it was a price fix meal that included drinks. They served lots of food. Terrible wine, weird cider. Luckily they poured a nice after dinner drink of whatever we wanted. I think the... More

We went there recommended by our friend, cause we wanted to eat something really Spanish, and it was full score. The taste of food, the Spanish atmosphere, staff behave friendly with totally unacknowledged of English language, but they give the best of them to understand what kind of food we wanted. They and we had pain in our arms after... More

I've been here several times on my own and found this place to offer good, no fuss for a low price (EUR 10 for 3 course mal with drinks!), but this time I went with family and we found the food was disappointing. The atmosphere is typical Spanish for locals, not tourists. The service is correct. Will perhaps try other... More

We went to this place a few times and really enjoyed it - packed with locals it had a really good atmosphere. The tapas was good and the wine was great....great value, more often than not we went in with the intention of ordering lunch but they just keep feeding you with tapas so you end up not spending very... Staying in Malasana

Neighbourhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighbourhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
