One of the first japanese restaurants from Madrid that moved to a new locatation in the same street a few years ago. Probably the japanese food was better in its first period, no matter it is still ok. Good price for a japanese restaurant.

We were staying at the Santo Mauro just a few blocks away and had passed this restaurant earlier in the trip. We decided to try it on our last night in Madrid. The sushi was some of the best we have had, very fresh and tasty. The service was excellent and we would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I was looking for Asian restaurants in Madrid before our visit to Spain and saw this on http://bit.ly/1eWOo5q and decided to give it a try after touring the area. Hubby and I are real glad that we dropped because the food was good. Service was okay in spite of the restaurant being very busy. We had delightful cocktails that paired... More

We were a bunch of friends dinning here, and the food was good, although I didn't find it super special, and the price was a bit too high, at 50€/person, why Japanese restaurants in Madrid are so expensive? Anyway, mixed feelings, good service and food, but price is too high, I would look for other restaurants...

Every dish was good, fish was fresh and the set menu was good value (although not cheap). The only problem: tables were too close to each other and it was a bit too noisy.

Extremely BAD food. Warm sushi/ sashimi. The new creations are absolutely horrible (tiraditos, tuna burger, etc) and priced as gold.

Staying in Chamberi

Neighbourhood Profile
Chamberi
Multi-story residential buildings decorated with ornate balconies line the traditional, quiet, and pretty streets of Chamberí. Humble storefronts and neighbourhood taverns are scattered across the lower levels down every block, and here and there, there's a cluster of tables on the sidewalk. It isn't ever crowded, but people are always out, poking into the tiny bakeries, hardware stores, and tobacco shops, or ducking into a bright, unadorned cerveceria to have a coffee or beer by the bar, flip through the paper, and check the sports score. The round Plaza Olavide, where the fairly regular network of streets breaks form, is among the most green and lively spots. Restaurants line its circumference and sought-after outdoor tables fill the center of the plaza, where people relax to the sounds of kids playing and street musicians' tunes.
