Small and traditional restaurant. Excellent cuisine. Everything is superb. Appetizers as well as main dishes, no matter if they are fish or meat. A good idea is to follow the suggestions of the personnel. No doubt, day offers outside the menu would be great. Friendly...More

Cuenllas keeps the taste and ambience of the bars in Madrid at the beginning of XX century. Traditional in the good sense, not cheap, but excellent quanlty, incredible wine list

The food here was delicious. It is not cheap, but not as expensive as the decor and service might suggest. We paid $100 euros for a lunch for three, where two of us had wine (a very nice Rioja recommended by our server). We arrived...More

Stylish and frequented by many locals this small location is ideal for evening meals. We had the tapas offering which was excellent and good value. Good location convenient for the location and well worth looking out for.

Just south of the sprawling campus of the Complutense
University of Madrid, Arguelles exudes a fast-paced,
collegiate vibe. The main street, Calle Princesa, is
filled with twenty-somethings rushing between classes
and errands, meeting up with classmates, and grabbing
cheap beers and cheap eats. This is a prime shopping
spot where the major Spanish clothing and department
store chains are less busy than their downtown
