Just arrived in Murcia and headed here as area was recommended for Tapas and ambiance. Perfect location sat in the ☀️ on high stools outside. It was lunch around 2 and the square was v lively . Friendly guys serving a multitude of Tapas from traditional to more innovative dishes. Relaxed service which isn't a problem in my book! You... More

It's a very nice place to sit and enjoy the Spanish live. The tapas is good and service is also great and very friendly.

Recommended by a Spanish colleague, we thoroughly enjoyed everything we are and drank. My rojia was rich and juicy, the sauvignon my wife ordered was light, floweral with a hint if honey. We ordered a number of tapas and nothing disappointed - the food turned out to be well beyond our expectations. Recommend the battered prawns and the gazpacho soup.... More

La Tapa has a great menu which reflects the creativity of the chef and the vision of the company. However, the waiter who is around 40 years old horrified our visit. A splendid presentation of how NOT to apply hospitality. Unfortunately he made me not wanting to come back to this restaurant and recommend it. Such a shame with that... More

We come here at least once each time we visit Murcia. This time the drains were whiffy and we had to move tables twice. The menu has changed and is less easy to understand but the tapas are good, but small. Our waitress's mind seemed elsewhere, and we thought it wasn't great value. We might skip it next time?

We had dinner on a tuesday evening when this place was nice and busy. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly! The tapas were only slightly more expensive than in other places but the food is very refined! Highly recommended!!

Not having much experience of tapas we decided to be adventurous and give this place a try. It helped that the descriptions were also in English which made our choices a lot easier. We ordered a selection to try and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The waiter was great too with a good sense of humour.

I was recommended this place by a friend who is from Murcia and good that I trusted a local because it didn't fail to disappoint. Traditional tapas with a twist made with top-notch ingredients. Our waiter Juan Antonio treated us like queens, making fantastic suggestions and displaying great product knowledge of the dishes. The highlights were the Murcian style octopus... More
