The Plaza de la Reina is beautiful an sitting out side at the Taberna was lovely. Ordered a goat cheese salad which served 2 people easy and potatoes. Both dishes looked and tasted very good. A bit slow on the service but when on holiday and in a lovely place I'm not bothered with that.

We got out of our cab from the train station and this was the first place we landed. We were feeling pretty miserable (life) and Sergio our server completely made everything better. He was so cheery and bouncy and the food was great and we immediately decided we liked Valencia a lot. Thanks. We needed that.

Location, location, location! I really liked this little restaurant. We parked our car in the nearby underground parking at the Plaza de la Reina and walked the area, visiting the cathedral and shopping for several hours. This little restaurant is in the middle of the action and offered a great place to rest and have a bite to eat. Plenty... More

Quick stop for something cold in the glass on a hot day. Tapas buffet where the toothpicks are counted after eating in order to work out the bill.

I took my partner here today hoping to introduce him to some traditional delicious paella. I have visited Spain quite a few times and had some great paella so I was hoping he would have the same experience. The menu was expensive and the wait was long.. I was hoping that maybe it would be worth it... what came out... More

The restaurant is situated in the historical centre of Valencia. It consists of a bar with extensive seating in the roadway where we ate. There are a lot of indetikit restaurants in the area making offering tapas and they all seemed much of a sameness. .I adore anchovies but the serving I got had them warm and cooked in some sort... I went with a friend to La Taberna de la Reina, staff are not helpful and helpful. They said just pick up what you want, have a table and will get them to you. I did not like the taste of the food, and it is expensive.

This is a wonderful way to sample tapas. There is an enormous range of tapas ready made. You just take what you want and save the sticks. Prices depend on the number of sticks you have. All are fresh and tasty. The sticks vary in length to reflect the size of the tapa. Definitely a great way to enjoy a... More
