We arrived towards the end of lunchtime service and were made to feel extremely welcome Ambience and food is rustic Spain, portions generous in particular the lamb chops were excellent. Only down point was the chocolate coolant felt like it had been microwaved and was not runny in the middle, but at the end of the day we got a... More

We had the home menu for a very reasonable prizre indeed, 12 Euro's. It was all very tasty and very well prepared. The reataurant itself has a great mood due to the tiles and posters indeed. Almost locals only. Great value for many!

This place serves very nice homy food. The menu del dia served at lunch is always a good option for a very reasonable price. My favorite starters on this menu are the paella Valenciana and the arroz al horno (rice in the oven with blood sausages, ribs and chick peas) and my favorite main dish is the carillada (pork cheek),... We fell over this restaurant on a Saturday night when Valencia was humming.. The service was pleasant and we had delicious fried artichokes and mushroom croquettes. My husband followed with lamb chops which were done exactly as he liked them. We got a complimentary after dinner drink . All in all we were very happy.

Portions a bit small, not the best taste. Just average. We took paella and croquetas. Dinner not homemade but cheap.

We stumbled across this place after walking back from town and thank god we did!!!! We searched on tripadvisor before going and found some reviews to detract from the food but we were taken away with the food served. We had Camembert with caramelized onions and strawberry jam with toast, followed by sweet peppers with tuna and olives to start... More

Every time I go to Valencia (at least once a year) I have to go to Casa Paquito! I've been there around 8 times, and the food is second to none around Barrio del Carmen! There are lots of other restaurants around (most of them are struggling to make a living, so you have the hostesses trying to give you... More

Casa Paquito: This small Restaurant is run by a Family and offering one menu of very well prepared and fresh family food. Location is central in the Carmen district of the old town. Decoration is simple with some nice mosaïc and some historic posters of major corridas taking place in Valencia. The room is cool in warm weather. This is... More

If you're after some excellent Spanish comfort food, look no further: Casa Paquito is one of the best around. My parents live in Valencia and they don't go out much (they're on that age where everything is too salty, or too spicy, or too bland, etc, etc) but we went there two days in a row and Casa Paquito didn't...
