My wife and I had the fortunate experience of visiting Richard Camarena's restaurant. We travelled from Scotland to Valencia on a short break and being food enthusiasts decided to experience this restaurant.......what a great decision that was. The taste experience was exceptional and the service...More

Last Tuesday we visited Ricard Camarena and had one of our best dinners. In a very nice ambiance, with superb and friendly service, we had an exquisite tasting menu. With surprising dishes an very good wine-pairings. Baby carrots with coconut, artichoc, oyster with avocado etc.

We thought this was an excellent restaurant. There is no actual menu, you just choose between six, eight or eleven main courses and before that you get numerous appetisers. They use only the freshest produce that is in season and you don’t know what’s coming....More

Certainly couldn't fault the speed by which we were served, perhaps too quick for my liking as I like to savour and enjoy my food. We were booked for the tasting menu so no choices to be made. The food was beautiful but it was...More

We ate here on a wet night in December last year and had a sensational meal with superb service. With all the pre starters we must have had 16 individual dishes all consistently interesting. We also chose the wine flight which flowed generously and was...More

Spent 400 Euros for 3 people for an average tasting menu. Tuna tartar dish was so terrible none of us were able to eat it (they did bring out an alternative immediately). With SO many, many great places to eat, skip this overrated place. Also...More

My wife and I just had a fantastic dinner in this restaurant. It was a total treat. Starting from being met at the front door, to be escorted 3 hours later when we left. Carlos was the ultimate waiter, but he was more than that....More

Firstly the good points. Lovely restaurant with spaced out tables and excellent and attentive service in an interesting historical building. Congratulations on the restaurant for developing their own ' anchovy fish oil' to be used instead of salt. However it's a shame that as a...More

The set up at this restaurant is a lot of little dishes - neatly and innovativley presented most of the time. You'll have about 15 different dishes to chose from and I'm sure you'll be able to avoid meat completely.

Description
The menu at Ricard Camarena Restaurant (Michelin Star and three Repsol Suns) is a successful combination of taste, absolute respect for the product, an understated creative cuisine grounded in tradition with cosmopolitan and Mediterranean influences and based on seasonal produce. Ricard Camarena's cuisine is highly personal, simple in appearance yet complicated in elaboration. The chef's culinary soul shows through in developing his creativity without any superfluous elements that could get in the way of what he wishes to transmit in each one of his dishes.
