We came here for my hen, 6 girls from the uk and we had the most amazing time! The food was incredible and the staff were so welcoming, we left feeling so full but couldn't stop eating as it was so so yummy! Great atmosphere and incredible staff, I myself am half Spanish so know a great paella, this was... More

Asking our tour guide for a recommendation where locals eat, she gave us directions to this location. We were looking to try an authentic paella and the amount of food provided at lunch was tremendous and reasonable and very tasty. But we felt that the food was extremely oily.

Visiting Valencia with friends, we had walked the City all morning and were looking for a good quality, non-touristic Restaurant for lunch. Our (out of date) guide book suggested a restaurant in Carrer de Roteros, but the venue we were heading for no longer existed. We spotted the unassuming entrance of Restaurante El Forcat and the lovely traditional interior looked... More

El Forcat was recommend by the tour guide. A little away from the main tourist area. Friendly professional service. The restaurant had authentic Spanish decor. Food was excellent and reasonable price. You also had the option to take out Paella. While I was there it got really busy and the place filled up with locals. Always a good sign when... More

We just had one hour from the tour bus to have lunch. We actually are not hungry but want to try paella. We stop at this restaurant 15 minutes before their paella are ready. We told them we will be back in 20 or so minutes. Surprising to me they reserved a table for us. When we were back, their... More

We had eaten here a la carte some years ago and had a fabulous paella and so went back late one lunchtime as we wanted to eat in a traditional spanish restaurant and eat quickly as hungry so we ordered the 12 euro menu del dia for a fast food traditional paella valenciana with chicken, rabbit and beans, green and... Visited this restaurant for lunch on the recommendation of our guide on the Valencia Walking Tour. It is just on the edge of the old town, 5-10 minutes walk from the Cathedral. We arrived about 1.15 and the place was not too full. Told the waiter we needed to be out by 2.30, and could he ensure we got a... More
