Lovely spot in back street for outside dining in the evening. Lovely food and wine. But the location is the main draw if you are looking to sit outside. Away from the main centre so quiet and romantic.

We had the most amazing meal at Taverna Buonvicino. The wine was great, five star food for adults and also kid friendly options for our children. They also had great Gluten free options including pasta, breads and an amazing dessert. Beautiful quaint setting with very...More

After touring around Amalfi, we were exhausted and wanted a break. We stumbled upon this beautiful litter taverna in Amalfi - the patio was secluded and quiet, and just off the path so we could still watch passers-by. We so enjoyed the shade, the atmosphere...More

I found this place as I was exploring the back streets of amalfi. I asked to book a table and was told they were fully booked for dinner, although it turned out they meant only the outside area. We were more than happy to sit...More

This was a lovely, though slightly difficult to find restaurant. Service was a little lacking and my steak was closer to Medium than Medium Rare which stops it from getting five stars though otherwise was excellent in a gorgeous little side alley. Asked for a...More

We needed to get away from the mid afternoon crowds in Amalfi. We ducked into a little alley and found this little place. We shared. Huge plate of Mussels and had to try the Limoncello and Prosecco cocktail... Mmmm!

There were three adults in our family party; and we all enjoyed this place. Upon arrival (no reservation) our server apologized that we'd have to sit inside, but there was no need for apology. The atmosphere was very attractive -- definitely not tacky or gloomy....More

I truly loved this restaurant. It is secluded and tucked away from the crowds of the main road. The food was superb (I am Italian btw) and the service outstanding. My husband and I made friend with the super funny and professional waiter Giovanni and...More

We hadn't booked a table but we're lucky enough to get one of the last remaining tables outside. It looked like most folks had booked and those that were turning up on spec were being directed indoors. I had the tempura vegetables which were simply...More

Only a few steps away from the cathedral, hidden in the alleyways of Amalfi in one of the most ancient and peaceful squares of the town, is the Taverna Buonvicino. In the authentic tradition of the Amalfi Coast, our guests will enjoy an a la carte menu and a food and wine tasting menu, strictly serving only products in season, to give them a taste of the places and culture of our territory. Our food is not ready made, but the shoert wait respects the sincerity of preparation and cooking times, far from today's much and ready's culture. For those who want to discover the Hidden Amalfi we suggest a journey that starts at the table and leads towards the colours and tastes of our territory where you can discover new places of belonging. Finally, a hidden corner to propose to those guests of ours who love small surprises. We look forward to seeing you here in this hidden corner because 'The true taste of Amalfi is hidden in the alleyways'
