We went here because Brandi, which we'd planned to revisit, is closed on Mondays. Good decision. From the front, it looks like a takeaway but there is a big, bright seating area upstairs. Service was great (the waiter, a big football fan, knew that Aberdeen had been beaten 3-1 by Celtic in their most recent match, adding an element of... More

Just had possibly the best pizza of my life so far, a frutti di mare pizza at Rosati on Via Chiaia in Napoli. I almost couldn't see the pizza for the marvellous seafood piled up on it. Washed down with a pleasant glass of wine, and all in a great location. Upstairs we had a nice view onto one of... More

No shortage of pizza places here, of course, but the wood-burning oven visible from the street and a sense that the restaurant had been here forever (plus our fatigue) lured us upstairs to this eatery near the opera and main square. We shared a margherita and a porcino version and fell in love with both the crust and the waiter,... More

Just across from our beloved ice cream/coffee stop, Gambrinus, Rosati (Via Chiaia 260) offers what thought we couldn't find in this part of town, namely a reasonably priced but also high quality lunch. My wife thought their pizza was the best she had had in Naples, I opted for pasta. Go early.

this is a great restaurant at the end of a shopping street. If you start at the Archaeological museum and walk strait down via Toledo shopping at the end is the restaurant. We came off a cruise ship and took a taxi to the museum (closed on Tuesdays) and walked towards the restaurant. More local shopping at first and more... More

We crashed at Rosati Caffe after some walk in the heat from the end station of the double-decker sightseeing bus. Despite catering for the heavy touristic foot traffic in the area, and despite being a little tighg for space, we found the food (pizzas, antipasti del mare, risotto del pescatore) actually very good. They offer most of the astounding Neapoletan... More
