We made a trip to Italy and stayed next to this restaurant. All the TripAdvisor information was great about this place. We went in one night and the owner's son has already badly received us. Said we'd like to have dinner. He said it would be impossible. I proposed to come back later without agreement. He suggested that we return... More

We had a large lunch at Osteria da Antonio on 4 May 2017. The Grand Hotel Oriente desk staff recommended this restaurant. It was small, about 12 tables, so reservations were needed for a 1:00 pm lunch. The quality of the food was excellent. Antonio was friendly and helpful. We were the only Americans in the restaurant. We had an... More

I visited for lunch with my wife and we really enjoyed the convivial atmosphere and cosy setting. Antonio is a super guy and speaks perfect English. He was happy to accommodate special requests and make suggestions as to our choices. Food was very tasty and fresh without being fussy or fancy. Antonio was also kind enough to advise us to... More

We tried early in the night but it was full so we went back at 9pm and had a lovely meal of seafood and veges as recommended by the brilliant young fella that served us. House wine was good and our table was snapped up by more diners after we finished. Very busy place but very good.

We arrived at our 7:30 pm time and really liked the atmosphere of this very small and cozy restaurant. I was craving pasta with lemon and Antonio recommended the clams with pasta and lemon saying it was his best seller. The pasta was good, the lemon flavor was less than expected and the small clams, that opened, were full of... More

Had a great lunch, little bit noisy (but less than most of Naples) and besides good food it was very affordable

Food is lovely full of flavour and loved the characters serving. The were friendly, informative and funny without being over the top. All round great evening. Would definately recommend it. We had three courses, coffee and a bottle of the lovely house wine and the bill was £58.

I came across this place whilst walking along the city. The host at the door Pietro was incredible. He poured Prosecco as a welcome drink and recommended amazing dishes! I had the Fritto Misti to start with followed by the Linguine Vongole. Seafood was so fresh!!! And seasoned perfectly. Then Pietro had Limoncello with me to end the perfect meal.... More

This was another spectacular day. We hired a cab to take us to Pompei and not only was this a supremely smart move (from hotel directly to the ruins and return), but Giovanni our cab driver took us to Antonio's wonderful Osteria. We arrived about 2:30 for a late lunch and we would NEVER have gotten in otherwise. Reservations absolutely... More

We stumbled upon this place during a stop over in Napoli, whilst they had no tables we managed to get one the following evening. This place is pretty small and always booked but, if you can eat early you're more likely to get a table than during peak Italian dining times between 1930 - 2130. Food here is really good... More
