We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of our hotel The Hotel Grand Versuvio. I've been fortunate enough to enjoy more than 100 Michelin stars in my time but I enjoyed this as much as any of them! The atmosphere, the home cooking style, the attention of the waiters and sommelier was outstanding. Also, the owner of the restaurant was... More

I visited this restaurant on two occasions over a period of four days. We were seated in the main part of the restaurant which has a high ceiling with arches and is quite dimly lit giving a friendly and intimate atmosphere. The staff were charming and helpful and the menu of classical Neapolitan foods included a wide range of fish... More

Recommended by our hotel, Casa Di Ninetta provided Beautifully prepared pasta with slow cooked sauces, fresh seafood and a very good wine recommendation from the sommelier (also hostess and daughter of the owner and co-manager). Great atmosphere. We met and spoke with diners from three other tables, picking up great travel tips and recommendations. Dinner for two with a bottle... More

This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at the hotel where we were staying, Hotel Grand Hotel Vesuvio. The place is very cozy. The owner's daughter is the hostess in the restaurant. The owner was also in the restaurant when we went there. She recommended a nice bottle of local red wine, MOIO. The menu has a wide variety of... More

Hotel Royal Continental recommended this place, and we are forever grateful. The owner is there before opening, and we come next. He is talking about his memories of childhood and his mother's cooking, the food market and his restaurant. This is nice, opera is playing, a very pleasant place. The food is great, not anything outrageously spectacular but tastes good... More

This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at our upscale hotel after I asked him where HE went out to dinner with his wife. It was a short stroll from our hotel--and other hotels nearby--yet we saw few other tourists there besides us. The place is reasonably priced, and the food is purely Neapolitan. Lots of locals there. A very... More

This restaurant was recommended in our guide book and based on the number of awards on the door, we were sure we were in for a lovely dinner. We arrived when it opened at 1930 and were the first people there. We were seated in the basement a really interesting, quirky area more like an antique shop. Our order was... More

La Casa di Ninetta was a wonderful experience last week. Even though a last minute choice the hostess Anna was able to place my table of eight without reservations. Although reservations are encouraged. All eight of us had different courses and they were all wonderful the home made creamed onion pasta dishes were on the daily menu and was outstanding.... More

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel concierge. I checked the trip advisor reviews which confirmed the recommendation. We were warmly welcomed by the owners daughter and her staff and offered a glass of Procecco. There was an English version of the menu and a smallish wine list. The menu had a great selection of dishes. The food was... More
