Went here after reading reviews about gelato. We had one of the chocolate ones, think it was forestia or something similar. It was nice but not much difference to one I had the day before from Fantasy Gelato. The woman serving was grumpy and rude. While we were deciding she tried to rush us. Not sure why, we were the... The one and the only, Gay-Odin makes the best ice-creams and artisanal chocolate you'll ever find in Naples!

While on a tour in Naples we had the pleasure of stopping by Gay Odin for some world famous Naples chocolate. We bought a mixed assortment in a medium sized box and brought it home for the kids. SOOOO GOOD! Two things that really ROCK in Naples- 1. Pizza 2. Chocolate Make sure you try both when in town.

I did an Italy trip and i had gelato in every city. The Gelato from Gay Odin was the best Gelato i had. they have a lot of chocolate flavors. I went back to that place every day.

I felt I was an inconvenience to the staff but the ice cram was tasty. Not a good way to treat tourists

Great chocolate.....even better ice-cream. Well priced and absolutely delicious!!! Set right in the centre of Naples a box of mixed chocolates cost €15 but they are worth every penny. Good service too

We were visiting the palace and ended up walking by this icecream shop. It was absolutely gorgeous! Small inside but the staff were friendly and the icecream tasted great. I had pistachio flavour and I could have eaten a lot more of it. Definitely worth a visit!

We had fragola (strawberry, with an aftertaste of watermelon), foresta (milk chocolate) and stracciatella. Delightful, despite the two grumpy ladies at the shop who were obviously exchanging nasty words about us when we asked what certain flavors were in English. Not that there were 50+ flavors to begin with either... still excellent gelato. Would go back.

The best we had in Naples whilst there! Rich traditional flavours with huge queues. Shop is lacking seating, especially with the heat!

Well, English speakers will titter at the name, but it's a great local confectionery for chocolates and other treats. A local institution. (Note: it's not a pastry shop.)
