Very friendly service. Good choice of food. Very tasty, authentic local dishes. Would highly recommend, will hopefully return.

Fabulous food, inexpensive by Rome standards and delightful staff. Feels like a bit of a time warp but one you won't want t leave. Fantastic fish but other options well cooked too. Partner had the most extensive meat mixed grill he's ever been presented with on first night. Brilliant for those who are tired of endless pizza which seems to... More

We stayed at the ESH hotel on the next street along and had a look at what restaurants were nearby. So glad we stumbled across this one! Very good hearty food at very good prices! We are going to try and visit again before we leave!

This family-run gem in a residential area of Rome really impressed me with its seafood and pasta dishes. It's worth a trip out to this place. Che bello!

Tonight went out for dinner based on your ( trip advisor) recommendations. Homely and very good standards , both the locals and those from the surrounding hotels eat there. Must try the fish and pasta with a nice bottle of red wine.

I picked the name by chance as being near the hotel we are staying at and how lucky we were! Clearly a local Italian rather than a tourist trap, nothing fancy but comfortable, with couples and families all engaged in eating some proper, tasty and very reasonably priced food. We started with a shared seafood antipasto platter, absolutely delicious simply... More

I was booked in a hotel outside the city, and when the limo service drops me in there was nothing to do but have dinner and sleep. At first, I thought I had no choice but eat in the restaurant across until thanks to TripAdvisor I found my way to La Nocetta. It was the best Italian dinner I have... More

I recently went here to celebrate my wife's birthday. Things hadn't changed much in the 19 years since my last visit-- the staff was warm and friendly (though you may want to brush up on your restaurant Italian, as there's very little English spoken here). Lino, the same waiter who waited on me during the summer I spent in working... More

La Nocetta is an outstanding Italian Restaurant, with great Italian food at very reasonable prices. A very Italian atmosphere with mostly local clients. Try the pasta dish "Bombolotti alla crema di Scampi" , and you will always want to come back for more.

Didn't realise when deciding to visit La Nocetta that it really is more of a Seafood speciallity restaurant - even so the Veal was superb and there was something for everyone. As a non Steak eater and not mad on Pasta or Pizza dishes (I know -why visit It!) I was a little restricted on choice - but I guess... More
