........ if all you are interested in is Michelin stars, fancy prices and snobbery. You will feel quite uncomfortable. However if you are interested in good,, reasonably priced food in a vibrant and friendly atmosphere then go along. Beware though - only locals seem to eat here. So xenophobics stay away. Good food, good wine all very well priced and... More

After a lengthy wait at the door without acknowledgement we walked to nearest table and sat down, yet it still took another 10 minutes and constantly trying to catch any of the staffs attention before we finally were acknowledged and asked for menus. Waitress did a very quick 'drop and run' before we could wave her down again to ask for... More

Come here just for the atmosphere, If you really want to eat like a local come here. We were the only tourists. Friendly service, lovely food, reasonable prices only a few hundred yards from Piazza Venezia. The Canneloni was great and the Abbaccio alla romana (lamb) was even better, They even gave us the recipe, We would have gone back... More

If you are looking for a fancy restaurant this is definitely not the place for you but if you are looking for real homemade Italian pasta and good service this is the place where you should go. The tonnarelli all'amatriciana infact were very tasty and also the millefoglie cake was very good. The waitress that served us was really nice... More

We went there for dinner on our first night in Rome. The wine was amazing and very affordable. The family members were so warm and friendly. They offered to make us pasta dishes that were not on the menu so that we could get a taste of Roman food. The beautiful lady brought out three different plates for us to... More

The food was good but not great. The wine was amazing and I liked a lot the atmosphere. Would go there if I am hungry, but it's not the type of place with memorable food.

Family-owned restaurant close to Vittorio Emanuele - monument. Not easy to find in the alleys behind. But not far away from Pantheon.

I ordered chicken with potatoes in some sort of sauce with olives. It looked good but when I start to eat the chicken I was in shock! So dry and almost impossible to eat. It was obvious that It was old. I complained to waitress about it and she didn't understand me well when I told her that I wanna... More

Considering the tourist trap restaurants all over Rome, Enoteca Corsi kept its line for being genuine Italian family run restaurant. Not worried about attracting tourists with decoration, they concentrated on their dishes and service. Top notch for being genuine in this day and would definitely be in my list to stop next time.

This was a unique experience. I thought the wine shop would be nextdoor or separate but the wines shelves actually surround the tables. Some people come to shop only while others are eating. We found it very fun and the place was packed by the time we left. The service and food were excellent. We had some potatoes with truffles... More
