The least friendly service in Rome, poor food and amateurish music. They forgot our food order, made us wait forever to pay, only take cash (this is the 21st century, get with it). Hamburger without a bun, nor much else, no wine list to speak of. Retired breathless musicians. And this on a Saturday night!

Even though this is supposed to be the biggest and most well known Jazz Club in Rome, it felt very cosy and intimate. You are never far from the stage and we saw a great Italian ensemble with Enzo Scoppa. They also serve food, which is ok but not very special. One of the highlights of my Rome visit.

If you wish to listen good music , good jazz, this is the place but... forget about food and drinks. Very poor choice (two kind of pasta) badly cooked. Small choice of wine.

This is definitely one of the best spots to enjoy an evening of jazz in Rome. My wife and I visited during a special sax evening and the American sax player was great! We didn't eat but ordered a bottle of good white wine to keep us company during the 2 hour set. The atmosphere in Alexanderplatz is cool and... More

I had heard that alexanderplatz is great but I was dissappointed with the bar and service. They didn't have any whiskies although there were quite many whiskies on the list. Same thing with other drinks as well. It was almost funny! And the waitress didn't have a clue what they had in stock. She had to go and check everything... More

Alexanderplatz is one of the best jazz clubs of Rome. Great atmosphere with live music. It has dining opportunity too. The menu is limited but the food is fairly good for a place that claims to be a jazz club not a restaurant. Music starts about 10pm, therefore, 20:45 is a good time to start dining. Always go with reservation... More
